Cycle to the Festival
There is a bike park with a security attendant, location marked on the site map.
Use the Tram
Use the tram (route 3) to get to Lloyd Park, there will be extra trams laid on for the day.
Check the Weather
Dress appropriately / bring suntan lotion and be prepared in the unlikely circumstance that it rains!
Use the Official Car Park
If you are driving then please use the official car park, it is only £5, is secured and has easy access to the Festival site.
Park Legally
Traffic Wardens, the Police and Council tow vehicles are in attendance. Cars parked illegally will get a ticket and may be towed away. Please check the Transport & Maps page for full road restrictions and use the official Festival car park.
Bring Some Money
Many traders will only accept cash.
Bring the Kids
Bring your children to the Festival but keep a good eye on them as it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. If you do lose them go to the nearest steward as we have a system in place for re-uniting families. Make sure your children have a mobile phone number for you for the day so we can re-unite you quicker if lost. And remember we do have a Kids’ Area on site with CRB checked attendants and stewards but you do need to stay with your children, it is not a crèche.
Respect Other People
Have fun and sample the delights of the festival but please note, as every year, there will be a full festival security team and anybody causing a disturbance or breaking the law will be removed and handed over to the Police.
In case of any emergency, follow the stewards’ instructions. |
